Hi Jenny,
You blog is wonderful. So interesting and so educational for those of us who haven't travelled to the Middle east. I understand that you must feel like a voice in the wilderness when so few of us add comments ..... but we are out here, reading and enjoying, and in many cases I'm sure, envying! it's special to see the ordinary folk that rarely rate a mention in news or current affairs. It feels like you're showing us the "real" side of things rather than that manufactured by media and politics.
very best wishes,
Karen Fitzpatrick (a fellow Scquilter)

Hihi Jenny
The blog fairy's been in to merge all those photos into one post so that your Walking In Zamalek one still shows up in the Recent Posts menu.

Jenny, I wasn't one who expressed an interest when you were asking for them. But when your site camre up in conversation I couldn't resist looking - and have been fascinated both by the words and the pictures. We know that life in other places is not as is portrayed in the media but it is very hard to picture it in its daily activities. You're opening it up in Cairo and I'm loving it. Thank you

Hi Jenny
Just enjoying the heat and dust. Your photography is wonderful and likewise your commentary. What a wonderful place to showcase your quilts. BTW we'll be staying at Miss Maud's next time we are in Perth.
