Jenny, I am unlikely to travel to your part of the world and I am reading your 'Postcards from Cairo' with great interest and enjoyment. Many thanks for taking the time to do this!

The photos are fabulous. I'm afraid that if I ever end up in Cairo the tentmaker's souk will rate before the pyramids to check out. Mmm, just discovered your blog and am now officially addicted.

The Tentmakers' Souq photographs are wonderful! Applique is my favourite type of sewing. I love it and those photographs have my mouth watering and my fingers itching. I read your Blog every day and would like to thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your life in Cairo. Dorothy, Canberra.

Hi Jenny, Thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences with us. The colours in the Tentmakers Souk are just stunning, somehow I have to get to see them for myself some day. I will think of you everytime I clean my teeth with our fresh, clean, Aussie tank water. Looking forward to the next installment.

Hi Jenny
Love the photos of the tentmakers souk. What gorgeus colours and designs, the blue so vibrant, even in the photos, so in the flesh it must be absolutely something else. The designs are fabulous, you will have so much inspiration after this stay, just hope you find time to do something with it!!

Hi Jenny, like everyone else I am really enjoying your diary/blog. People don't seem to mind you taking photos? That's good for you and us. So colourful. The school boy experience sounds wonderful - seventy seven (sounds like a cricket score) and not out.
You certainly seem to get royal treatment - any study box is better than cracked plastic.
Here in Brisbane I am gearing up for the Sydney Retreat - I am a virgin and so looking forward to meeting all those faces who have only been names up until now.
Cheers and hugs. Keep on keeping us informed.

Jenny,
Have been reading your posts to Scquilters and now your Blogspot(unfortunate name, I must say) and am enjoying them immensely. Have also just found out that I may be able to attend one of your workshops when you return to Aus. so am really excited.
Keep the photos and info coming.
