I am an Australian quiltmaker married to a diplomat (retired now). I have lived about fifteen years of the last thirty in the Middle East. This blog started in Egypt, and has morphed back to Australia with our return. I will leave the name the same but content will change.

I think you will have to stay there, Jenny, as I don't think there are too many homes that would show your quilts off to such an advantage. I'm dying to hear some of the comments that your future guests will make!

Your quilts look amazing! Lucky for you to have the space to hang even the largest quilts you have made. I wish I had the wall space to do the same with my quilts and they are in no way as large as yours! As Marian says, I can't wait to see what you produce from your time in Cairo!
