Thanks , Jenny, for judging our competition and posting photos of our quilts. Mine was called " Ilfracombe to Kuwait -- a quilter's journey". I have appliqued scenes from Ilfracombe in North Devon, England where I was born and brought up, followed by a journey through my pony-mad , rock climbing childhood amid our wonderful, wild N.Devon countryside,my career as a teacher, marraige and children , a move to Surrey, golf and scenery-painting , then our move to Kuwait 5 years ago and my transition to quiltaholic-- all depicted through a collage of applique and photo-prints on a pieced background, with a few witches flying around to celebrate my Hallowe'en birthday! I was so proud to be awarded 2nd place among all those fabulous quilts!
