Help!!! Don't open any odd looking links
I am being hijacked by odd drug companies. Please don't open any strange looking links that promise Viagra and other temptations. I DID NOT put them up, am changing passwords daily to no avail, have cleaned adware off my computer and would love assistance from anyone who knows how to stop this. I would also love to work out how to contact Blogger for assistance and cannot find a link.
It is very very annoying, like a bad attack of bedbugs. Silly irritating parasites.

Good luck Jenny. I work for the Dept Human Services here in Vic and am constantly bombarded with similar e-mails. What puzzles me is, they ( IT gurus) can quarantine "inappropiate" jokes but can't block these parasites.
Please keep the blog running, love reading about your interesting life, as I go about the daily grind of work and family with a bit of sewing thrown in.

I removed the guest book from my web page for the very same reason. The SPAM was getting disgusting. I hope you'll continue to keep blogging, your words & pictures are a beautiful view into a world completely foreign to me. I like learning about different cultures. Thank you, & good luck.

This may be too obvious and you may have set it up already, but:
in the Blogger Dashboard, way down at the right click Members.
That will bring up who you want to be able to post.
Under "email" click the administrator button for yourself.
Somewhere here there was a way to email them.
I'll keep digging.

After much digging I came to a page with an Ask Support spot and here's an address of a page that allows you to email them.

Dear Jenny, I felt so upset for you - and very cross that there are nasty people who would do this - when I first saw one of these links on your blog. Went and checked my own, just in case. As others have said, please keep blogging. I love reading about your doings, and having been there now I can easily visualise so many of the places you mention. By the way, I still have people asking after my health since my Cairo hospitalisation, and after assuring them I'm now 110% I'm always singing your (and Bob's)praises as such a caring couple and great people to be in that diplomatic position. She should turn off the posting from email if she has that set...go to Settings then the Email tab and if there is anything in the Mail-to-Blogger-Address box, erase it and make sure the checkbox for publish is not checked...You have to have something in the box for you to be able to post via email but if a spammer has guessed the secret word and the checkbox is set to publish, that could be how her blog is being spammed...
If she has it set and still needs to continue to post via email, she should make that secret word very difficult to guess...no dictionary words. I don't know if that field will accept anything other than letters and characters, but I would use a combo of upper and lower with at least one number...
The 'Publish' box allows emails sent to blogger to automatically publish...if it is not set, the posts are held in draft and she would have to actually mark them for publish...but it allows review before a post gets onto the blog...
I am hoping this is her problem...otherwise blogging could get very chancy for all of us if spammers have cracked the blogspot security...
